Short Bio

Julie Kreps was born and raised in Baltimore City, Maryland, but currently resides in south central Pennsylvania. Her artistic interest started as a child coloring in coloring books, drawing with her dad, and making homemade cards for her family on special occasions. Art classes were always inviting to her in school, so she signed up for every class she could. Julie enjoys working with graphite, colored pencils, acrylics, watercolors, and most recently has fallen in love with pastels. She continues to take classes of all kinds with other artists in many different mediums in order to keep learning new things and improving upon her skills. The art she makes is largely inspired by her family and nature.
